My brooch and ring. You like?

After work yesterday, I bought 2 things from TROVE (Esplanade Mall, #02-10)  and I’m wearing one of them today. Sydney-based designer Tabitha Emma Patterson made the lovely brooch I’m wearing. If you like it, you can also buy it off her etsy shop. I like walking into TROVE and looking at the 1000 eclectic things they have. Their clothes don’t fit me though. I just like looking and buying small trinkets.

Full length. What do you think about the belt? Maybe remove it?

What I’m wearing today:

Dress: Cotton Jersey Charcoal Gray Julia Dress from PATRICIA VALERY

Leggings: Black knit lace leggings from DOROTHY PERKINS

Accessories: Black calculator watch from CASIO; Silver gift bow ring from WAREHOUSE; Grey skinny belt with star studs from DOROTHY PERKINS; Spotted mushroom brooch from TABITHA EMMA

Footwear: Grey/Pewter quilted flats from CHOCOLATE SCHU BAR

ps. It’s true. Today I’m grouchy. Ok, more sad and mopey than grouchy. Pictures don’t lie.

Thanks Dewi Melati Johan Chen Hui Ling for the photos.

One more for the road.

  1. wow Cloe, you look amazing! the simplicity of the dress works so well on you, really showcases your beauty.

thank you so much for your kind comment. to be honest, I nearly didn`t survive my childhood, and trying to heal from it is such a heartbraking ordeal. but I am ok.
    love, Anika

  2. Chloe,
I’m with Anika, I love the simplicity of this dress and it’s perfect for your frame. I like the belted look very much. I believe it gives it structure and shape. The feature that I like the most are the fluted sleeves.
