Fatshion, Food & Frivolities – Life in Las Vegas & Singapore

Another dark and gloomy day. My indoor photos are not so nice lately. A super loud crash and boom of thunder minutes before this photo was taken. I love it when it rains but hate the muggy humidity when it stops. Sigh…

For some reason (other than the fact that we have our long and serious department meeting on Wednesdays), I feel like I’m dressed like an OL (Office Lady) more than usual. Sure, most office ladies would stop at one floral item instead of piling them on. What do you think?

What I’m wearing today:

Dress: Purple/Pink/Black floral sleeveless shift dress from DOROTHY PERKINS (This must be at least 5 years old!)

Accessories: Ethnic embroidery obi sash from somewhere in Inner Mongolia (It’s probably not Mongolian but Chinese.)

Footwear: Black ASHIKA SCOOPED BALLET flats from ROCKPORT

I left Singapore for the US of A in 2013 and now live in Las Vegas with my indie game dev husband and our son Gummi Gumdrop. I am also probably much older than you think I am.

  1. It works great! I like this floral combination a lot! and the watch…Geeks Rule!!! 🙂

  2. I love the combo of the two floral pieces. It takes it from pretty to spectacular!

    • Thank you! I thought so too (heehee… shameless me). The dress actually came with a plain purple wide stretchy belt but I thought it was too DP LOOKBOOK if you know what I mean

  3. You actually make it seem really easy with your presentation however I to find this matter to be actually one thing which I think I would by no means understand. It kind of feels too complex and extremely wide for me. I am looking forward for your subsequent submit, I’ll attempt to get the dangle of it!

  4. Heya this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

  5. Thanks to my father who informed me regarding this website, this
    web site is truly remarkable.
