Lishan carries with her awesome bags into the office everyday! And she towers over everyone in the office – standing almost 1.8m tall in her heels! She is fashion.
The last round of VS purchases were courtesy of my cousin Megan who cobbled together the orders and my sister Rachel who paid for them (and some other things from ASOS) as a treat for my birthday 2 months ago. If money were no object (I’ve been quite skint lately), I have my eye on the following:
You know what? Wishing is free… So one can keep on wishing….
I used to hate Forever21. I think the girls who shop there are skinny bitches with no taste. But I forgive the label now that they’ve launched a me-sized friendly “Faith”. I actually do like some of the things there. SOME being the operative word but still… me likely!
Maybe you likey too?
Pink is girl friendly but let’s not do gender stereotypes. I like a STRAIGHT man who can carry off bright electro pink and electric purples! Forget the sweet powdery pink things doodes… you can still do pink though.
And who doesn’t like Amazon.com? Ok, the high shipping fees I could do without… but these are too cute!
God knows how girls bigger sized are often told to skip the cute and go for the “slimming” styles. I know if you’re not a size O, you tend to make more fashion faux pas than the average person. Seriously though, if you’re fat, no amount of black is going to be slimming in any way. Might as well walk around in a bright bright pink!!!
I like these, and you might too…
60s mod inspired shift dress with decorative buttons and back zipper. Match it with your go-go boots and hit the town.
Sizes XS-2XL are available and are handmade to order, so please allow up to 1-2 weeks until shipping.
Hot Crosses – Vintage reconstructed Slip Dress
Extra Large 14 – 16
Whether you call yourself EGL, Lolita, or loligoth, this OOAK, reconstructed slip dress would look great on you!
Here’s a dress that’s simple, yet makes a statement! It’s a strapless tube dress with a double ruffle skirt, made of hot pink cotton fabric with black polka dots. Wide black lace runs up the front, as well as three black heart buttons! Zips in back, boned in front and back.
Bust 40″, waist 38″, hips 42″, length (neckline to hem) 30″.
I’ve got quite a straight barrel-type body shape at the moment (strangely I don’t think it was always like this) and I need to create the illusion of a waist and some curves. Dresses and skirts that flare out or are a bit “hip-py” are good for me. I like these from PlusSizeFix:
They look quite Topshop-ish and are quite affordable. Wonder what the quality’s like though…
Yunisacs is based in the UK and she makes these lovely purses!
Oooh what gorgeous fabrics! These are just too cute!
I like this and that and this and this and this and this and that…
It seems anyone sized 14 and up is considered Plus Sized. I have a ton of UK size 12 and 14 clothes I haven’t worn in close to 3 years! I guess I am delusional.
There are some other brands I like who make clothes just for people like me and that make me feel normal. Like IGIGI http://www.igigi.com/

Every few weeks I stumble onto an Etsy shop with too many things I want and I’m in love with and this is one of them. Parsimony is a mother of 2, based in Austin, Texas. She uses such gorgeous colours and fun names for her oh-so-flattering dresses; and they can all be custom-made to your size! Good news for girls like me!
